Catherine J. Sundwall (“Kate”), practices primarily federal immigration law, with a limited family law practice. She has been practicing law since 2008.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Kate completed her undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After college she served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chile and studied law at Washburn University School of Law in Kansas.
As a law student, Kate was a senior student editor of the American Bar Association's Family Law Quarterly and had the opportunity to intern at the Washburn Law Clinic and Utah Legal Services. While in law school she was also able to study international human rights law in Costa Rica through DePaul University College of Law.
After graduating law school, Kate moved back to her native Utah and is a licensed attorney with the Utah State Bar. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) actively participating and volunteering through the Utah Chapter.
Kate enjoys her profession and being able to work with and advocate for clients and families from all over the world.
